The Apprentice & the Master

There comes a day when the Apprentice outshines the Master; that day arrived today. The lovely Debbie landed her PB Esox 15lb+. Pictured with her mentor and Gillie(Pike Holder) Neil. Also pictured displaying this season's style in ladies slider floats. Think these could catch on bigtime amongst the more sensitive Male Piker.

A week away in the worst weather i have experienced in all my life. The weather didn't help but we still managed a collective total of 50+ fish up to 18lb. As usual we enjoyed a few beers and some excellent food courtesy of Chef Gulper. Here are a selection of Photos from Neil's boat. More to follow from Gulper's Fury.

Chaos Medusa; Franglais Fishing.

These crazy looking beauties are taking the lure world by storm. FranglaisFishing.com have manged to get hold of a limited stock so be quick to get yourself some. They come in Sizes of Mini; which are 8inch and 4 1/2oz and the regular size of 10inches and 8 3/4 oz. They have so much movement in them the pike will not be able to resist them

Gulper Leads and we follow!

After the initial ridicule of Gulper's flotation suit came the realization that in this weather it is the best idea he has had in a long while.
Womble has added a dashing flotation jacket to his wardrobe and i have invested in this season's fashionable favourite; the Masterline xtc one piece creation with the added cosyness of a fladen one-piece thermal suit as i am a big nesh girl!
Fladen one-piece thermal. Cosy!

Womble modelling the sundridge flotation jacket. Suits you sir!
Thanks to Tacklebargains.co.uk and their valiant couriers who braved the torrents to get me my suit in time for friday's trip west. Quality gear and bargain prices.........and superb service; thanks Peter!
With mine and Womble's track record for falling in the drink these suits look a good investment......chuckle!
